The studio session takes place at our in-home studio. Full studio sessions typically last 60-90 minutes (newborns may take a bit longer). There will be time for different backgrounds, outfits, and groupings. The studio session is recommended for newborns, maternity, first birthdays, and families looking for a variety of portraits to choose from in a studio setting. Any full studio session can incorporate a mini-session theme at no extra charge. The beach session lasts 45 minutes and takes place either in Ventura County or Malibu, usually in the morning. After viewing your proofs, you may purchase a high resolution cd of your ten favorite images for $250, all of your gallery images for $350, or purchase prints and products individually. The park session takes place at a nearby park and lasts 45 minutes. The park is great for families who would like a casual, natural light session with a beautiful green natural background. The Around the Town Session includes up to 90 minutes of shooting at a location within 45 miles of Santa Clarita. (there will be a travel fee beyond that) Instead of a capturing a posed/pretty/matching portrait, this session is meant to record your family being themselves and having fun together. It can take place at your house, a theme park, a farm, downtown - you name it! The idea is to spend time getting to know your kids while looking for interesting backgrounds. If you don't have a specific location in mind, we can decide on one together. The mini-session is 30 minutes long and includes one background color. Sometimes we have themed mini-session days. Our most popular mini-sessions are A Glimpse of Santa (Fall) and Bunnies (Spring). Past mini-session themes have included LOVE Letters, Fairies, and Halloween.
